KAIA Design is an independent web design agency and digital studio based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, providing professional Web Design & Development, E-commerce, SEO & Search Visibility, AI Search Optimisation & Visibility and Website Care & Management.
Established in 2011, with roots in web and digital design dating back to 2008 through EART Design / Evident Art, KAIA Design combines creative design, technical development and search expertise to help businesses build stronger digital platforms and improve their online visibility.
The studio was founded by Kaja Bis, Founder & Creative Director, and is run together with Tomasz Bis, Digital Director. Kaja specialises in website design, WordPress development, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, UX/UI design, e-commerce and ongoing website care. Tomasz focuses on SEO, Local SEO, E-commerce SEO, AI Search Visibility, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), Entity SEO, structured data and digital strategy.
Web Design & Development services include bespoke responsive websites, WordPress and Elementor development, website redesigns, UX/UI improvements, technical integrations, website architecture and performance optimisation. E-commerce services cover WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Shopify, including online shop development, product and category architecture, checkout optimisation, payment integrations, migrations and technical support.
SEO & Search Visibility services include Technical SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, Google Maps visibility, E-commerce SEO, WordPress SEO, PrestaShop SEO, internal linking, content strategy, structured data and schema markup.
AI Search Optimisation & Visibility focuses on helping businesses become easier to understand and discover across AI-powered search environments, including Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini. This work includes GEO, AEO, Entity SEO, knowledge graph considerations, website architecture and consistent business information across digital platforms.
KAIA Design's long-term client experience includes Turboworks, a UK automotive e-commerce business supported through PrestaShop development, website management, product architecture, photography and SEO. In 2025, the Turboworks website recorded more than 176,000 sessions, including almost 118,000 from organic search. Google Search generated over 71,000 clicks and approximately 3.55 million impressions during the same year. Turboworks products have also appeared in observed Google AI Mode results, with additional visibility in Google AI Overviews.
